Goal:
In recent years, the Argentine Republic has been a pioneer in implementing a legal framework to protect victims of domestic violence. This legislation has facilitated the access to information and justice for victims, speeding up protection processes and relevant complaints. However, there is a gap in the support ot these women, who in most cases have significant mental degradation, result of violence that keeps them from going through the legal process and sustaining psychological treatments to treat the problem.
The Course on Domestic Violence will capacitate people who desire to provide assistance to families with violent dynamics, giving them mental support tools to use in the necessary processes respecting the situations and times of every family.

Granted certificate:
Certificate of Comprehensive Violence Intervention Worker awarded at the end of the course. Operador en Abordaje Integral sobre Violencia.
Activities and Course Evaluation:
This level consists of 16 meetings of 2,5 hours each. Each lesson is given through a virtual platform with teachers in charge of every subject. Each student will have access to Classroom where they will have corresponding materials and projects at their disposal.
Graduate profile:
The Workers will be able to effectively carry out the accompaniment in assistive and preventive intervention in the different areas that make up the field of Domestic Violence (child abuse, sexual abuse of children and young persons, marital violence, elder abuse), through supporting families affected by the problems, in order to reduce the life-threatening risks and accompany in the derivative processes, such as: prevention, protection, reporting and follow-up.
Prerequisites
- Over 18 years old.
- Secondary School completed or ongoing.
- Basic knowledge of IT-tools.
- A suitable device and good internet connection.
